High Impact Polystyrene
HIPS (High impact polystyrene sheet) is a thermoplastic - it softens when heated and hardens upon cooling. It can be moulded into a wide variety of configurations without losing its strength and stiffness.
It can be assembled with mechanical fasteners, adhesives, or solvents. Offset lithography, screen printing and digital printing are options to produce vibrant colours and designs on HIPS. It can also be die-cut, guillotined, or punched to make any shape desired.
